Teatro Sergio Porto exhibits the play Matrioshka Polifônica, by director Celina Sodré, between October 22nd and 31st, at 8 pm. The presentations are part of Studio Stanislavski's 30th anniversary celebrations and tickets can be purchased at www.sympla.com.br. And we only have 24 seats.
The actors' work explicitly shows the passion and relationship with Russian authors. In Matrioshka Polyphonic, Fyodor Dostoyevsky dominates the scene with the presence of his literature, as well as fragments by Leo Tolstoy and Andrei Tarkovsky. But it is Dostoievski's widow, Anna Dostoievskaya, who is the narrator, with text adapted from her autobiography: My Husband Dostoievski. Rehearsals for this work began in October 2018, so, after nearly two years of process, Matrioshka Polifônica arrives at Espaço Cultural Sergio Porto with approximately 55 minutes duration. On stage five actresses, an actor and a pianist/actress.
